PENERAPAN MEDIA “CUT AND STICK” PADA PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INGGRIS DI SD KELAS AWAL

Abstract

This study discusses the experience and reflection of learning conducted by researchers in elementary schools. Researchers explain the results of experience by focusing on the results of performance that has been carried out both in preparation, implementation and results in the learning process to be a reflection and reference to be better in teaching in the future. This research was conducted in grade 1 of Bethel Elementary School. This research uses narrative inqury method or qualitative approach through experiential storytelling. The results of the study focused on the understanding and constraints of students in learning English. This aims to create an overview of the importance of language learning and the demands of the importance of communication and teacher creativity in delivering learning materials. The findings show that the application of cut and stick media in English language learning can be one of the answers to overcome the massiveness of students in English language learning. It is hoped that this experience can contribute to teachers and prospective teachers to become a reference for developing self-competence to create effective learning in the future.
