Islamic boarding schools are educational institutions that specialize in deepening religious knowledge, in Islamic boarding schools, especially traditional ones, still need a study of the learning system and the coverage of teaching materials, because there is no standard curriculum and quality supervision, then how about the implementation of learning evaluation in Islamic boarding schools seen from planning, implementation, and data processing of learning evaluation results, This research uses a qualitative approach and description method, focusing on actual problems, Data collection techniques by interviewing teachers of Islamic boarding schools miftahul huda boyolali as teachers of Islamic Tarikh subjects, Evaluation of tests used in Tarikh learning subjects there are 3 types: a. Diagnostic tests b. Formative tests c. Summative evaluations or summative tests are carried out after the end of the provision of a group of programs or a group of larger programs. Summative tests Summative evaluation or summative tests are carried out after the end of the provision of a group of programs or a group of larger programs. with the evaluation of learning in the form of tests on Tarikh subjects at the Miftahul Huda Boyolali Islamic Boarding School is enough to help teachers to find out and measure the ability of students to receive learning material. The types of test evaluations used are diagnostic tests and there are summative tests in the form of multiple choice, description, cross-answer.
