OPTIMALISASI MINAT DAN PEMAHAMAN PESERTA DIDIK KELAS 1 SDN TALAGASARI TERHADAP PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INGGRIS

The interest and level of understanding of grade 1 students of SDN Talagasari towards English subjects is still relatively low, students often forget the material that has been learned before. Therefore, the author as a prospective teacher observes and teaches the subject which aims to make the learning atmosphere fun but still meaningful besides increasing interest and understanding for grade 1 students of SDN Talagasari. This observation uses a narrative inquiry approach that departs from an observation and observation, which involves participation and interaction and communication that is raised into a meaningful story. The results of the research in this article are that the author reveals in detail the reflection report after the actions taken in a thorough and structured manner. The inference from this article is to sharpen the sensitivity of an educator in creating a fun but meaningful learning atmosphere and train the ability of an educator to create the expected learning and achieve learning objectives. Thus, all aspects related to English learning that will be taught must be prepared in such a way as to increase students' interest and understanding, create a pleasant classroom atmosphere that can reduce students' anxiety levels and potentially increase openness and good interpretation of students in the English learning process.
