This research aims to enhance the interest, motivation, and understanding of students in learning Biology Class XII IPA at MAN 1 Halmahera Central through the application of the Discovery Learning Model. In a modern learning context that requires the active involvement of students, Discovery Learning is seen as a method that can stimulate students' exploration and critical thinking, having a positive impact on their learning outcomes. Through the application of Discovery Learning, the study aims to change the teaching behaviour of teachers, improve student participation, and improve the overall quality of learning. It is expected that the results of this research will create a more interactive, in-depth, and motivating learning environment, helping students better understand the concept of Biology, and preparing them with critical thinking skills relevant to real-world needs.
